I can’t wait! Looks like a wonderful set of extras. It’s great that Cameron is back to doing commentary tracks! And with J.B. Smoove and Mark Livolsi?! I love J.B., and I love commentary tracks with film editors–they often offer a wealth of detailed information.

The movie was so good, but I wish they had stuck to the true order of events – namely that Benjamin’s wife got sick and died AFTER they had purchased the zoo. Don’t know why they changed that -it would have been a better story line doing it truthfully!

Thank you, Greg. I am one of those folks who does not happen to own a Blu-Ray player–or even the sort of TV one would need to really make that feature pop. I realize that the industry is essentially forcing consumers to make the change to Blu-Ray by placing an arsenal of special features on one format as opposed to another. And of course, I would hate to lose out on terrific special features like these just because I don’t have the “right” format.

Will any of these features be on the standard DVD release? If not, I just hate how the powers that be are essentially forcing consumers to turn to Blu-Ray.

Cameron, I feel like the studio has failed you. We Bought a Zoo was a touching, beautifully executed movie, but the ad campaign was just a zebra and a bow. On bilboards, on posters, in ads. Did the studio really think that a stock photo of a zebra was better than a picture of Matt Damon or Scarlett Johanssen to sell your film? Damon’s name wasn’t even on the poster.

You’re one of my favorite directors. I just find it disheartening when I see your movies fumbled by outside forces.
