I finally got around to watching this interview and really enjoyed it. I loved Damon’s misunderstanding of the initial reception of “Say Anything…” – a theme of late, what with Cameron noting how currently folks want to talk to him more about “Vanilla Sky” over any of his more celebrated films. Films have a life of their own, and people’s attitudes and perceptions can change over time, in-between viewings. And someone even of Damon’s stature in Hollywood bases his memories of “Say Anything…” on how it worked for him and his circle when it was first released, and how beloved it remains today, not even remembering what the press said or what the box office returns were at the time of its release. That was sweet.
I cannot express how touched I have been by the courage and deep love this movie demonstrates. Thank you for loving your family and animals. I have been deeply impacted <3
This is still my current favorite movie… I watch it every time I come across it channel surfing regardless of when it started or if its close to ending… I watch it!
I can remember the state of the zoo years ago and have visited recently with my kids and for a wedding. U guys have/are done/doing a great job. Keep up the great work x
I watch it all the time with my family. We’re from Argentina. It’s such a beautiful story!! Thanks for the “20 seconds” advice. They are precious to my little daughter everytime she needs to be brave! Happy New Year to you and your family, the staff and all the animals!!!
Sweet blog! I found it while surfing around on Yahoo News.
Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
Many thanks
