To celebrate the release of this week’s Deluxe Soundtrack for Singles, we thought you might like this never before seen deleted scene. This would have played near the end of the film as Bailey is going to the doctor and runs into Cliff busking…enjoy!
Tis the season for all these anniversaries, right? Singles is 19 years old today. After a long delay, the film was finally released theatrically on September 18, 1992. It’s a pretty good time to reflect back with the release of Pearl Jam Twenty this week.
Yes, Cameron is hoping to put out a new Singles Blu-ray with lots of cool audio and video extras, but the work on that continues. In the meantime, you can check out the recently added deleted scenes, Warner Bros’ production notes and Cameron’s Rolling Stone Diary on the difficult shoot.

For our retro bit this week, I stumbled across this great picture which was probably taken on the set of Singles. Front Row – From left to right, Chris Cornell – Soundgarden, Matt Dillon, Cameron Crowe. Back Row – From left to right, Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam) and Layne Staley. (Alice in Chains lead singer who passed away in April 2002). I’m sure we’ll get some great stories about Pearl Jam and their Singles involvement on the upcoming Pearl Jam Twenty documentary.
